Crowns and Bridges
With crowns, we are restoring teeth to full function by creating a prosthetic that looks and feels like a natural tooth. If a tooth is missing, a bridge is a great alternative; it involves a crown on the two adjacent teeth, with a prosthetic piece that spans the gap in the middle. The final product looks like three individual teeth, and it will give you the ability to chew and smile with confidence.
At the visit of crown preparation, our experienced dental assistants will scan your top and bottom jaw, as well as capture your bite. The dentist will shave down the natural tooth to allow sufficient space for the tooth-colored ceramic crown.
Crowns last for years if well tkaen cared of! Importance on the size and shape of the crown is emphasized to allow our patients to feel that it is natural to bite with when re-scheduled to come back for a crown delivery.
