Dental Services at Smile Craft Family Dentistry

General dentistry focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of oral health issues. Our office provides routine checkups, exams, cleanings, and restorative procedures to maintain and improve your dental health. Preventive dentistry involves taking proactive steps to care for your teeth and maintain their health. It helps prevent issues such as cavities, gum disease, enamel erosion, and other oral health problems.

What we offer at our office for this type of care: - Routine Check-ups - Prophylaxis (Cleanings) - Scaling and Root Planing - Gum Pocket (Periodontal) Probing - Radiographs - Intra-oral Photos (2D) - CT Partial Scan (3D) - Fluoride Treatment - Teeth Whitening for Front Teeth - Sealants - Retainers & Occlusal Guards

Emergency dental care is needed when you experience severe pain, difficulty eating, sleeping, or speaking. It also addresses issues like broken, chipped, or loose teeth and fillings, which can be treated on the same or next day. Additionally, prescriptions may be provided for abscesses and active infections. Emergency room providers can prescribe medications, such as antibiotics or pain relievers, to help alleviate pain and reduce swelling. However, they do not perform restorative treatments like fillings or crowns. After receiving initial dental emergency care at the ER, it is important to follow up with your dentist as soon as they are available for further treatment.

What we offer at our office for this type of care: - Prescriptions to send to your local pharmacy (Antibiotics, Steroids, Extra Strength Advil or Tylenol) - Palliative Treatment (Temporary Filling/Cover, Gum Abscess Drainage) - Extractions on Baby Teeth - Clinical advice on how to treat and manage symptoms

Restorative dentistry aims to restore oral health and function. Treatments include fillings (white composite), root canals, crowns, and implants. These procedures address dental caries (tooth decay), repair damaged or broken teeth, and replace missing teeth. Restorative dentistry offers a wide range of benefits for people of all ages, such as restoring oral health, improving chewing function, eliminating dental pain, reducing the risk of future dental issues, and enhancing the appearance of your smile.

What we offer at our office for this type of care: - Composite (Tooth-colored) Fillings - Root Canal Treatment - Re-treatment of Root Canals - Individual Crown Preparation - Bridge Crown Preparation - Implant Consultation - Tooth & Gum abscess drainage - Pulpal & gingival debridement - Gold Crown Preparation - Partial & Complete Dentures, including Flippers - Extractions

Scheduling a consultation at our office does not guarantee that a treatment plan will be provided or carried out by our team. We always prioritize the best outcome for each patient's health and may refer them to specialized care based on their individual needs and condition. With the patient's consent, we can forward relevant medical records to the referred facility to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to their treatment plan.
